Get ready for our…Sizzlin' Summer "Grill Off"

Grab a cool one, kick back and enjoy the Urban Core’s Sizzlin’ Summer BBQ contest! Our annual "Grill Off" takes place Wednesday, July 30th, 2008 at “The Reserve” at 925 Grand Boulevard. The conversion of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s 86-year-old headquarters into upscale condominiums is slated for completion by 2011. “The Reserve” will offer 155 luxury residences and 25,000 square feet of mixed-use commercial & retail space. Built in 1921 during the Warren G. Harding administration, the art deco structure was designed by architects Graham Anderson Probst & White and has housed the office of President Harry S. Truman. The twenty-one story, 305 foot tall building - once Kansas City's tallest – maintains to this day most of its original architectural elements of significance. Bring your friends, and of course your BEST BBQ DISH, as we ‘Grill and Chill’ with our friends at the Urban Core.
